Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?
Throughout my life I have had many moments where people have shown me love, appreciated me, expressed their gratitude yet I haven’t always believed it or felt it because trusting people has been hard for me. People aren’t always kind or sincere in their intentions and I have been on the receiving end of some tricks and betrayal in my life.
But with time and the necessary inner work I have started opening up and allowing myself to receive the love that people give me. The innocence of a child, my boy in particular, always makes me feel loved. His hugs and the truth in his eyes when he says he loves me makes my heart open up even more with happiness. His intentions, his actions and his expressions come from his heart and I can feel this in my soul. I will say YES to a hug from him at any time of day. I think children are the blessings of our world. ❤️
