This story has been living inside me for quite some time.. waiting, wanting to be told.
It came through as a remembrance… of a magic that once was, and still breathes beneath the surface of our world.
In a secluded forest, far away from the noise of men, lived a magical witch.
She carried the powers of the Earth within her heart and spoke the ancient language of dragons.
Her feet were grounded in the soil of this world, yet her spirit could travel between realms unseen.
Her name was Esmeralda.
She was not of this Earth, yet her wisdom stretched so deep that she could feel the heartbeat of the planet calling her home — a call she could not resist.
With steady steps, Esmeralda walked toward an ancient tree.
She knelt down, pressed her hands into the soil, and something began to shimmer beneath the surface.
An emerald crystal emerged, lighting up her face with a gentle glow.
She sat upon the ground, placing the crystal carefully in her lap.
“Mother Earth,
Light and fine,
Let your magic once more align.
Like a raven in the night,
I call upon your sacred light.”
The Earth trembled softly. The wind danced around her, spinning the fallen leaves into a circle.
A vortex opened before her eyes, and a radiant white light descended, spiraling deep into the ground.
Esmeralda smiled.
“Welcome, dear sisters… welcome, dear brothers,” she whispered.
“The time of reunion has begun.”
