I pulled some cards today and the message is so clear.
This is what came to me as I tuned into it:
“Often times we get tangled up in the daily routines of work and chores. So much that it feels more like a burden than it does as something necessary and useful. It becomes a comfortzone, so known and familiar that instead of it being a necessity boredom can set up and all kinds of other heavy emotions that can bring you down. Does it sound familiar?
Patterns need to be broken for us to feel joyful again. Our brain needs stimulation and it doesn’t get it from the same old thing that is repeated over and over again.
There are things that we usually say no to and set aside because they are not “necessary” or practical in daily life. So today it’s time to break the routine of folding laundry, doing the dishes, cleaning the bathroom, mowing the lawn (or clearing snow) or washing the car by doing something fun!
Even if you can’t get away from your obligations make sure to have more fun: turn up the music and dance your way through the chores, sing along to a song that you love, play with your kids or with your pets. Go on YouTube and learn a dance. Put on a comedy show so you can laugh. Play a board game. Do some laughing yoga. Look in the mirror and act like you are the greatest singer of all times. Receive that award for being the greatest actor while you thank yourself in the mirror. Make sure to move your body and get the energy flowing again. Laughter clears blocked energy, the louder you do it the better it is. So be silly and don’t hold back!
Don’t take anything too seriously today and act like you are 7. Forget for a moment what it is to be an adult. Your inner child wants to play because this is the way you nurture yourself. You can give yourself space to make this energy bigger and you will see that it will lift your spirit immediately.
This is THE way to connect deeper with your soul and to discover the joy that life really has.
So today say YES to yourself, be playful, celebrate and let your inner child be in charge of your happiness.”
