Are you a good judge of character?
Being a good judge of character isn’t something that has been encouraged to develop in our early years by society. We have been taught to oppress our natural abilities to follow our gut and intuition. I believe that being a good judge of character requires a lot of self-awareness and connection to our own emotions and sensitivity. Because how else would you be able to recognize them in others if you can’t identify it in yourself?
As I have grown up trying my best not to follow my emotions but be rational and logical I have bumped in quite a few people where I wasn’t able to see the truth of what they showed me. My mind would play tricks on me and would only make me see me and not make me FEEL it. Seeing someone for whom they really are requires for the intuition to work together with the mind. Now that I have been learning on allowing myself to be just the way I am it is much easier to spot people that aren’t genuine or are simply clueless in what they are projecting.
So through ups and downs, learning how to manage my own emotions and learning to observe rather than react I would like to think I have become quite a good judge of character.
You do have a lot of experience
