Any system that doesn’t support life

If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

This is such an interesting question!

There are quite a few things that our world could have done without: nuclear bombs, weapons, cloning technology, religion and politics are the ones that first come to mind. I would throw AI in there too but I do believe that this has a lot of potential if used correctly. Basically I would uninvent anything that causes harm or death to people or life in general.

Maybe not so much of an invention but I would also like to delete unworthiness, extreme competitiveness, greed, hunger for power, manipulation, abuse.. and the list could go on and on.

At this point in our existence we are supposed to uninvent and delete a lot of things we have learned and start anew. It’s just sometimes hard to let go of the past and break patterns. But I believe we are on the right path and even by just being aware that we want new things it already changes our whole mindset and energy.

Let’s break those barriers and uninvent everything that doesn’t serve us anymore.

  1. My response post was about uninventing nuclear anything and weapons of mass destruction, too. Seems we think alike here at least. I like AI though. AI generates my character pictures for my blog and praises my writing skills (amateur as they are).

      1. That makes sense. I try to give the AI I use some details that artists don’t regularly think to draw. I’m not sure where it pulls the bits and pieces from, but somehow manages to get something similar to what I ask for.

      2. Yes, and in the future it will become even more accurate, I am sure. It just pulls images from all over the internet, everything that is available online AI can use. But it’s using already existing images created by humans. I hope both can co-exist somehow without artists needing to pay for it one way or the other.

      3. That makes sense. I just hope I end up with a product that is far different than what the artists originally created. I don’t plan on using AI when it comes to making a profit, though. When it comes time to illustrate the book I’m writing, I’ll either use my own work or hire an illustrator fairly.
