Wisdom From The Heart

When my son’s friends come over they are always in awe of the drawings and paintings that I make.

Over the years I have made some for him but now a friend of him asked if I wanted to make one for him as well.
I can’t say no to kids, I’m a sucker for them.. 😂especially when their eyes sparkle when they light up with excitement.😅

What I thought would be a fast piece made with ohuhu markers turned out to be a work of quite a few hours. Why? Firstly, because I love drawing with alcohol markers and secondly because I always want to make it look better…. And better. 🫩

In the end it doesn’t matter how long it takes because the experience itself was worth it.
It’s just that my back might disagree after sitting in weird positions while making it. I never sit at the table as a normal person would.. 😅 

Art isn’t about perfection, it’s about the process, the energy, the effort, the peace, being in the moment, and the connection you feel when you are creating.
