For a long time, strange things happened around me. Small objects would disappear for days or weeks, only to suddenly reappear in impossible places. Sometimes I would hear soft knocks, tiny taps, little sounds as if something was trying to draw my attention toward it.
I never felt fear.
One evening I intuitively decided to draw a goblin. As I started sketching him, messages and feelings began to come through very clearly. Not as something “separate” from me, but as an ancient energy revealing itself through symbolism, intuition and imagination.
What I felt was not evil.
For centuries goblins have been portrayed as dark tricksters, thieves and dangerous beings hiding deep within forests. And yes… they are tricksters. But not in the way humans often think.
Goblins are ancient earth spirits. Spirits of nature itself.
Neither fully light nor fully dark.
Like nature, they carry both.
A storm can destroy, but it also clears the air.
Fire can burn, but it also transforms.
The forest can guide you… or make you lose your way.
Goblins reflect what lives inside the one who encounters them.
If someone lives through greed, lies, ego, manipulation or destruction, the goblin becomes a mirror to those energies. Things may disappear. Paths may become confusing. Someone may stumble over their own words and illusions.
Not out of cruelty.
But because truth cannot stand upon illusion.
“You cannot be tricked unless you believe in your own lies.”
But those who approach life with sincerity, respect for nature and an open heart experience another side of them completely.
To these people, goblins can become protectors, guardians and guides. They reveal hidden treasures, forgotten wisdom, abundance, crystals, secret pathways and opportunities hidden beneath the surface of reality. They work alongside those who are connected to the Earth and their deeper purpose here.
Children and animals are naturally safe around them because innocence is recognized and honored.
These beings are ancient.
Mischievous.
Wise.
Protective.
Deeply connected to the balance of nature.
And although their energy can move through both shadow and light, they are not here to harm those whose heart is in the right place.
The Earth is their home after all.
And they fiercely protect what is sacred within it.
Now the question is to color or not to color? 😅
